Since 2003, Arizona Piano Lessons has been a standard of excellence in providing modern and classical piano instruction to students of all ages and levels in the Phoenix area.

Arizona Piano Lessons is a team of university educated professional instructors with the expertise to teach all different styles of music including: classical, jazz, blues, rock, pop, country and gospel. For children and adults, our lessons will inspire you to understand and play music!

LEARN TO PLAY PIANO!

Learning an instrument such as the piano has many proven benefits. Playing music will assist in a child's development and will enrich the life of an adult.

A child as young as 6 can begin learning piano in our program. Students are taught the basics of reading and playing using established proven sources as well as materials that we have created over the years. Together we decide upon a course plan with specific goals. Throughout the instructional experience we provide additional activities in fun subjects such as ear training, improvisation, song writing and recording.

Every year we produce a CD of performances from all of our students. It's an opportunity for everyone to share their talents!

We strive to keep all students engaged and interested throughout the lesson and practice process. Any musical style or song that appeals to you or your child can be taught by us!

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Our team of instructors is very talented in other areas that may be of value to you. For instance, we can make sure you sound great by tuning your piano. Current students receive a discount for piano tunings, but we are happy to tune anyone's piano. We also have expertise in many aspects of modern DAW recording. If you're interested in learning about software such as Logic, Pro Tools and Ableton Live, we can help. We are also available for hire as live performers and studio musicians.

INSTRUCTORS

  TIM ROVNAK - Owner

Tim graduated from Carnegie-Mellon University with studies in Classical Piano, Physics of Musical Sound, and Electronic and Computer Music. He has won awards for performance and composition and created Arizona Piano Lessons in 2003.

JENNY JARNAGIN

Jenny has a bachelors in Piano Performance, and a masters in Music Teaching from NAU. Jenny has studied at the Conservatory of Music in Victoria, British Columbia and the Conservatory of Music in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has over 20 years of teaching experience and is a wonderful performer!

DAVID PAONESSA

David has a bachelors degree in Jazz Studies from ASU. He is an amazing jazz performer and instructor but also is experienced in performing and teaching classical!

ANDRE HALL-RODRIGUES

Andre is a Phoenix native and currently studies at ASU. He has been an instructor for more than 3 years is great at teaching children as well as adults!
